Safety systems incorporate automated alerts, barcode verification, and electronic prescribing with built-in decision support tools. Quality improvement initiatives utilize systematic data collection, outcome measurement, and performance indicators to identify safety gaps and implement targeted interventions. Implementation strategies focus on creating safety culture through staff education, standardized communication protocols, and regular assessment of safety practices.
